This article suggests Homestead Farm as a source of fruit trees. I called them, and they only sell fruit, not fruit trees. But they recommended Adams County Nursery as a source of fruit trees: http://www.acnursery.com
I also have enjoyed browsing (but have not yet ordered from): http://www.hiddenspringsnursery.com/ and http://www.oldvaapples.com/products.htm

Hello! I am just discovering DC Urban Gardeners and am really excited to know that you exist and that there is such a strong network of environmental justice going on in the District. I am a student at George Washington University and am just starting to inquire about how I can get my school to start composting, so I'm beginning with community groups. I want to be able to send an email to DCUG but because I have a mac (and no mac email) I can't access your email addresses on the website. I would love to get in contact! Thank you!

I'm not sure if most people would say that Pawpaws are beautiful in bloom - maybe more like "interesting". And I would describe the flower color as maroon, instead of flesh colored.
